Scott Lam is a two-time winner ( 2017 and 2025) of the Most Outstanding Private Teacher Award (Teaching Shield) for keyboard instrument ( Pianoforte) Grade 7 to Licentiate ( LmusA) category for his excellence in teaching the piano. It's the most prestigious award from the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) NSW.

Currently a piano tutor at the Sydney Conservatorium High School, Scott also taught piano for the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Academy of Music and Performing Arts Bachelor and Master degree music students, and for several years he was invited as a consultant for Sydney Eisteddfod piano section and as an adjudicator for 1st Sauter Piano Competition Sydney. Scott has been teaching for more than two decades. He is happy to meet new students, especially if you have been trying to learn for a while without much breakthrough- he can "diagnose" what are the bottlenecks that stop you from progressing and therefore help you to overcome. 

Studios are located in Riverwood and Darlinghurst.
